A cold DM that does not get ignored
Short, specific, and asking for something smaller than a sale.
The DM that fails is the one that could have been sent to anybody. The fix is not more personality — it is one concrete detail that proves you looked.
A structure that works
- One line naming the specific post or product.
- One line on why you are writing, in plain words.
- One question that costs them ten seconds to answer.
Ask smaller
"Want the details?" outperforms "Can we book 30 minutes?" by a distance, because the first is a yes/no and the second is a calendar negotiation with a stranger.
Pace yourself
Instagram is far more sensitive to message volume than to profile reads. Sending slowly from an account with real history is the difference between a campaign and a lockout.
