What is an Instagram lead finder?
A tool that turns a search on Instagram into a list of businesses you can contact. The useful ones return contact details, not just handles: Builtlead collects the business email, phone number and WhatsApp that accounts publish on their profile, in their bio, or on the website they link to.
How does Builtlead find leads on Instagram?
You pick hashtags — giveaway, contest and promotion tags in any market — and Builtlead reads the recent posts on them. Every account that posted is read once: profile, bio, linked website, then up to three contact or about pages on that site. A run keeps harvesting until it reaches the number of contactable leads you asked for.
Is the email address real, or guessed?
Real. Nothing is generated from a name and a domain. Every address comes from something the account itself published, which is why bounce rates look nothing like a pattern-guessing tool.
What does it cost to find Instagram leads?
One credit per lead saved with a contact email. Growth is 10,000 credits a month at $59, Scale is 30,000 at $149, and top-ups are 1,000 for $10. Accounts with no contact details found cost nothing, and duplicates are never billed twice.
Do I need an Instagram account to use it?
Not to find leads — searching runs on our own infrastructure. You only connect an Instagram session if you want to send DMs from Builtlead, and then the messages come from that account.
Can I export the leads?
Yes. CSV export carries every field, any selection can be pushed into a Resend segment, and a webhook connector POSTs each new lead to your own endpoint as it is found, signed with HMAC-SHA256.
Is scraping Instagram leads legal?
Builtlead only collects contact details that businesses published publicly for the purpose of being contacted. How you then use them is on you: outreach rules differ by country, and GDPR, CAN-SPAM and local marketing law all still apply. Automated collection may also breach Instagram’s terms.
